Overview

I’m a curious UX researcher and service designer who loves listening to people’s stories and perspectives. In my work, I combine both qualitative and quantitative methods, incorporating participatory approaches whenever possible to translate data into practical, human-centred solutions.

" If researchers do not ask people why they have a particular opinion or act in certain ways, we will in effect guess their motives. Often we will be wrong.”

My international experience across three countries has broadened my perspective, shaped my values, and strengthened my interest in projects that drive positive change in areas such as social innovation, sustainability, mobility, education, and gender equity.

Whether it’s enhancing a digital product, improving a service, or aligning teams around customer needs, my goal is to find creative solutions to complex problems through the design thinking process. I seek to bridge the gap between what people truly need and what organizations deliver, crafting experiences that are not only functional but also meaningful.

Recent Experience

ICAO (United Nations)

UX Research and Design Consultant

In 2025, I led end-to-end UI/UX research initiatives to improve the user experience of ICAO's B2B e-commerce. First, I defined the project scope, established a structured research plan and timeline, and selected appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies to support business and user needs. Then, I conducted in-depth analyses of Google Analytics data, sales inbox inquiries, and heuristic evaluations to identify key usability issues and friction points. Next, I designed and executed user research activities, including semi-structured interviews, moderated mobile usability testing, and unmoderated tree testing, to validate findings and uncover user behaviours. The outcomes were consolidated into a comprehensive research report featuring persona profiles, customer journey mapping, and actionable UX insights and recommendations. Finally, to ensure alignment and impact, I facilitated a cross-functional workshop with internal stakeholders to prioritize implementation actions based on the research findings collaboratively.

Carleton University

Research Assistant

In 2022, I participated in a cross-cultural, interdisciplinary research initiative focused on inclusive technological design through a gendered lens, known as Gender Design in STEAM (GDS). As a research assistant, I contributed to a Brazilian case study that examined the clothing design needs of low-income, menopausal women. My work helped facilitate documentation and knowledge exchange between scholars from Canada and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Engaging with the broader GDS project enhanced my capacity-building and expanded my understanding of gender equity in STEAM, reinforcing my commitment to socially responsible design practices.

ICAO (United Nations)

UI & UX Designer

From 2019 to 2024, I worked in the Revenue and Product Management Department, contributing to multiple strategic digital initiatives. I played a key role in the initial phase of the redesign of the organization’s official website, coordinating communication between stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners, and supporting UX research through the analysis of survey data and Google Analytics.

In parallel, I led the reorganization of the Training section, overseeing the full process from research and information architecture to interface design.

I also contributed to the complete redesign of the e-commerce platform (store.icao.int) in 2020, ensuring a user-centered interface aligned with brand guidelines. Earlier, I was involved in the conceptualization and launch of ICAO TV as a product designer, responsible for branding, launch materials, and the design of the streaming platform. Across these initiatives, I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams on digital campaigns and enhanced digital communications, including newsletters and other digital materials.
